  1. When and where will the IFPRS2015 be held?
    The 2015 edition of the International Festival for Peoples Rights and Struggles (IFPRS 2015) will take place on 17 November 2015 at the University of the Philippines Diliman Bahay ng Alumni in Quezon City, Philippines from 9:00AM to 6:00PM. Registration starts at 8:30AM.

  3. What will the IFPRS2015 be about?
    The International Festival for Peoples Rights and Struggles 2015 (IFPRS 2015) is a biennial international solidarity event that gathers workers, peasants, women, indigenous peoples, migrants, artists, cultural workers and youth from all global regions. IFPRS 2015 will be held 17 November at the Bahay ng Alumni, University of the Philippines Diliman, Quezon City, Philippines. The festival aims to showcase the groundswell of global resistance against renewed imperialist offensives that threaten peoples rights across the globe. This year’s programme is structured around two main themes: 1) Renewed imperialist offensives, tactics and state oppression, and 2) Peoples’ rights, resistance, and international solidarity.
  4. Will there be exhibits or workshops?
    Both. IFPRS 2015 will feature a comprehensive programme of workshops, fora and interactive exhibit stands, a media briefing, cultural presentations, as well as opening and closing programmes.
  5. Who will take part in IFPRS 2015?
    IFPRS 2015 will gather around 500 workers, peasants, migrants, women, indigenous peoples, artists and cultural workers, youth and many other sectors and communities from Africa, Asia and the Pacific, Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean, Middle East and North America will gather in Manila for IFPRS 2015.
  6. Will there be workshops?
    Yes. IFPRS 2015 will feature a comprehensive programme of seminar/workshops, plenary sessions, briefings and cultural presentations. For more details, contact the Secretariat at ifprssecretariat@iboninternational.org
  7. What are my accommodation options?
    We recommend that you book your hotels in Manila in advance. For logistical support, please contact the Secretariat at ifprssecretariat@iboninternational.org
  8. Does the venue have wheelchair access?
    Yes.
  9. Will there be internet access at the event?
    There will be limited internet access in the venue.
  10. Will there be onsite catering?
    No. A number of workshops may provide lunch.
